Image and Source Policy
Renewable Gardening uses a mix of original generated editorial illustrations and properly credited third-party images. Images should support the topic directly and help readers understand the garden situation, material, or decision being discussed.
Generated illustrations are used when they provide a clean, attribution-safe, topic-specific visual. Third-party photos are used when a real garden, compost, rainwater, plant, or home scene communicates the topic better.
For third-party images, the site keeps visible credits in captions or Image Credits sections where required or appropriate. If an image does not have a trustworthy attribution trail, it should be replaced or removed.
- Featured images require descriptive alt text.
- Generated images are credited as generated for Renewable Gardening.
- Pexels, Unsplash, Wikimedia Commons, and similar sources require source tracking.
- Images should avoid generic green-living clichés and unrelated decorative use.
